After someone ate an undercooked bat and spread an uncontrolled plague around the world, the Brazilian immigrant and cartoonist Koostella got together with the Swiss drummer Noé Sébastien to found their own cult. Retromorcego is a satanic-tropical grunge duo formed in Basel in 2020 to preach rebellion and disobedience in the language of the future: Brazilian Portuguese. Their appearances are vampiric ceremonies, their songs the torment of the neighborhood. In 2024 Retromorcego released their third album, Nada Além do Pó, and completed their third brasilian tour. Today you can find them around, having a beer with the devil and chatting with the ghost of communism.
